The Injury Care Clinics (TICCS) Ltd have acquired a majority stake in Diagnostic World Ltd, a leading provider of ultrasound scanning services.
Diagnostic World, based in Birmingham, was founded by Jon Leonard and subsequently Peter Dines joined the board and invested in the business. Jon, who is continuing as Managing Director, commented: “This transaction represents a significant milestone in the development of ultrasound services which will benefit patients across the UK. There are clear synergies between the two businesses and joining forces with TICCS will bring significant benefits to both businesses”.
TICCS is the largest independent provider of rehabilitation triage and treatment services in the UK. Each year more than 50,000 people benefit from the services of its nationwide panel of physiotherapists, osteopaths, chiropractors and psychologists. TICCS also provides a range of physiotherapy services through Physioworld, a national provider of physiotherapy treatment and rehabilitation with over 150 clinics across the UK.
The partnership will enable Diagnostic World to accelerate its development to be the leading provider of community ultrasound services in England and ensure that it can deliver this by never compromising quality.
Bracebridge Corporate Finance advised the shareholders of Diagnostic World on their strategic options and advised on the sale to TICCS.
