Bracebridge Corporate Finance was founded 10 years ago by Andy Moore, a highly experienced sell-side M&A adviser who has been selling high quality, niche businesses in the £5m to £200m value range for over 30 years.
Andy has a passion for working with business owners, helping them maximise value from the sale of their business. He started his career at PwC where he worked for over 14 years in the UK, Singapore and Australia. He was subsequently a founder partner of a corporate finance boutique where he worked for a number of years.
Andy decided to establish Bracebridge in early 2014 when he saw a real gap in the market to provide owner-managers with a totally independent hands-on service, drawing on years of experience of selling businesses. Business owners only want one shot at selling their business and therefore need an experienced adviser to optimise the chances of success. He is driven by maximising value, not just getting a deal done.
Andy recognises that every business is unique and it is critical to identify what makes it special and what drives its value. He spends time getting to know his clients and ensuring they are well prepared for a sale.
A sale can be a very stressful process for business owners and Andy’s role is to relieve as much of this stress as possible. This is achieved by thorough preparation for sale, targeted buyer research, quality marketing materials and robust negotiations and project management.
