The business also operates several fixed waste treatment facilities whereby they treat contaminated wastes and convert them into sustainable materials for recovery and recycling.
The business has demonstrated exceptional growth in recent years and in 2020 was awarded the accolade of ‘Top 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain in 2020’ by the London Stock Exchange Group.
As part of its continued and successful strategy for development, Soletanche Freyssinet identified Dunton Environmental and Dunton Technologies as a strategic acquisition to enhance the development of its soil remediation business.

The Dunton brand is well known in the sector and it is the intention to maintain and build on the existing brand reputation of the business in the United Kingdom and expand the scope, scale and reach of Dunton across the UK.
Soletanche Freyssinet and its companies’ organisation is based on unique principles that allow the group to grow closer to its customers and encourage self-governance of its subsidiaries. Therefore, the leadership team in the UK will remain in place and continue to be led by Neil Roe, as CEO.
Neil added “The ambitions of the business to ensure, stability, growth and provide added value to our clients will be maintained throughout. It is a very exciting time for us all at Dunton and we want to thank our clients, supply chain and an amazing team of dedicated staff for all their support to date”.
