Deal

Sale of Dunton Environmental

Our role

Bracebridge Corporate Finance advised on the sale of majority equity stake in Dunton Environmental and Dunton Technologies to Soletanche Freyssinet, the French company which is ultimately part of VINCI Construction.

Dunton is recognised as leaders in land regeneration, by providing innovative solutions and techniques to soil and water treatment. It has been operating in the land remediation and waste management sectors for over 15 years and has built an enviable brand in the industry for solving complex brownfield problems, and delivering great value to clients safely, sustainably and on time.

The business also operates several fixed waste treatment facilities whereby they treat contaminated wastes and convert them into sustainable materials for recovery and recycling.

Our solution

We worked alongside the shareholders of Dunton, assisting with negotiations and project managing the transaction from start to finish. The shareholders wanted to ensure that they would benefit from future growth opportunities, so the deal was structured in such a way that the shareholders retained a meaningful minority stake.

What our clients said about us

Neil Roe, CEO of Dunton commented: “This new partnership will provide significant benefits to all our clients because it will enable us to support them with an even wider geographic reach, and the combination of the two companies will bring a depth of experience to enable us to engage in larger and even more technically challenging projects and continue to help our clients in solving complex land remediation and waste management challenges.
